I saw a woman wearing a pair of amazing winter boots on the subway today and I *really* should have taken a picture of them. I asked and she said she got them at The Bay, but I went there and they were nowhere to be seen. Description: they were in that puffy coat material, but sleek and fitted to the ankles and calves. They came up to just below knee height. They had 1.5" wedge heels. I loved that they looked warm, yet sleek.

Tara HuntThey are definitely lovely...and an option. But I'm dying to find the ones I saw on the woman. They had a nice heel on them and were all over shiny puffy coat fabric (don't know what that fabric is called!)

Tara HuntYeah. I have the puffy Pajars that are warm and make me look like I'm going on an Alaskan Expedition. And I have my La Canadienne's that are sleeker, but my feet get cold after a while. I need something in between that I can still wear with a skirt and feel stylish.

I just spotted these at a local store that carries high fashion Canadian brands. Still not EXACTLY them, but so close I think I'll buy them - plus they look just like the Moncler's without the Moncler price tag! They are a LOT sleeker in person than they look on the website.No one commented yet

Ah! Actually, not sure if you think they are too puffy T...but I was going to recommend these also, they look sleek!!
These aren't the same ones I saw, but they are getting closer! If I can't find the other ones, these are definitely gorgeous!
